An independent design consultant working at the intersection of spatial design, brand strategy and experience. Through Storm Worldwide Design, I work with organisations across hospitality, cultural institutions, retail, corporate, healthcare and the public sector. My practice is founded on the belief that good design is inclusive by nature. It begins with understanding how people move through, inhabit and interact with the environments and systems being designed for them. It ends with experiences that are coherent, purposeful and accessible to the people who use them. Thirty years of international practice spanning Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, India, Europe and the US. Recognised at Cannes (Black Dolphin), the New York Film Festival and multiple Creativity International Awards. Published across twenty international design volumes. Alongside the consultancy, I design objects through Rehan Saiyed Made. Its first release is QAMAR, a chair and coordinating home collection.
